FAQs

All You Need To Know

Which areas do you cover?

We are based in the village of Brompton-on-Swale near Richmond in North Yorkshire, but can offer our delivery and collection service anywhere up to 150 miles away depending on our availability. We typically travel to anywhere within North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, Teesside, County Durham, Tyne and Wear, Northumberland and Cumbria. We've even been known to venture as far as Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Cheshire, North Wales and Southern Scotland!

How long does hire last?

Hire of all our packages is for the full day. We typically deliver the games to your venue on the morning of your wedding or event and set them up ready for you. We can then arrange collection for later in the evening for any time up until 8pm. If you'd like to keep the games for longer we can sometimes arrange pickup for the following morning (subject to availability), providing there is somewhere secure for everything to be kept overnight. Please note that next morning collection will incur double the delivery and collection fee.

We welcome block bookings over more than 1 day, with subsequent full day hire being charged at a 50% rate. So for example 2 full days hire of our Gold package would be £600 (£400+£200), plus the delivery fee.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured, and for your peace of mind our Public Liability Insurance covers us for up to £10,000,000. If your venue requires a certificate of public liability insurance please let us know and we will be happy to provide it.

How much for delivery and collection?

We offer delivery and collection charged at an additional £1/ mile one way from our location in Brompton-on-Swale in North Yorkshire. So for example the full price of our wedding games package at a venue located 25 miles away would come to a total of £300 (£275+£25).

We use Google Maps and use the shortest available route to work out the mileage. If you’re unsure of our working we will gladly clarify it with you.

What if it rains?

Unfortunately we all know the great British weather can't always be relied upon, and when you book you essentially do so entirely at your own risk. Our mini golf course and most of our garden games can cope fine in light rain, and we generally encourage you to embrace the weather come what may! However we do strongly asvise you to have a plan b in place to set up indoors if it's raining heavily or looks like the weather will be particularly bad on the day. As a last resort if there’s no fall back option then you can cancel the booking up until the night before and receive a 50% refund. Please note that no refunds will be given if you decide to cancel on the day of the booking.
